10 Year Anniversary

Celebrate 10 years with us August 1 - August 4, 2013! We want to spend this time reflecting and praising God for what He has done in the ministry these past 10 years, as well as prepare our hearts for the vision ahead. You have been a big part in His work here and we want you to join in the celebration! We are planning a special conference with guest speakers as well as fun activities for the team. Special Youth Conference Finds Truth

drsummer1With a well-known university in San Pedro, our church is blessed with a large group of college students. What better way to minister to this demographic than to hold a conference that answers many questions with which this age group struggles!

At the end of June, Pastor James Neal from the First Baptist Church in Glen Este, Ohio brought a group of students from his church and led a conference entitled "Findings that Change drsummer 2Lives." Topics that question our existence, purpose, and meaning in life, such as evolution and post-modernism were discussed. Friday night, we had two other churches from neighboring cities join us. On Saturday, many of our young people brought classmates and friends to hear the truth of God's Word presented. Then, on Sunday, we had a great time of volleyball, basketball and swimming along with a question and answer time to close up the conference.

Some of the students that came to the conference also joined us at church on Sunday. We are so thankful for the truth that we find in God's Word and how it has the power to change our lives and guide the choices that we make.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
