BaseballAbove: Gary’s 10-12 year old, baseball ministry select team practices on the new field on Visionland

There are no corn stalks in the outfield and so far no one has heard any voices (a reference to a classic baseball movie), but there is a sense that the newly constructed baseball field on Visionland is the ministry’s version of “Field of Dreams.”
The baseball ministry, under the direction of Marco Uribe, ministers weekly to 100-150 baseball players. Gary, who helped start the baseball league still is able to stay involved, coaching a 10-12 year old select team with another missionary. This has opened opportunities to share our faith, build values into the young boys, and help them connect to godly men interested in their wellbeing. While the newly constructed baseball field is still rough and needs work, Gary is thankful to finally be able to see children and young men using the field on the ministry property.
