WASILLA, ALASKA
Wasilla is a beautiful town of about 10,000 people and is located one hour north of Anchorage. Groups that come to serve in Alaska will be able to partner with churches and ministries in Wasilla and Anchorage. This area in known for harsh climate, beautiful geography, isolated communities, and intense spiritual needs. The open window for groups to come and serve is May through August. Groups will be able to partner with and assist sustainable ministries.
Ministry Opportunities include:
- Serving at a summer camp
- Light construction projects
- VBS and children’s ministry
- Outreach events like Block Parties and holiday-themed events
- Food and clothing distribution
- Sports games and/or clinics
- Concerts and musical performances
- Local church ministry – special events and programs
- Prayer walking and evangelism

- Day trips to Seward or Homer
