YUCATAN, MEXICO
Our ministry partner in Yucatan works in small towns and villages near Izamal. These towns still have many families that come from Mayan descent. The Mayan history and culture are very rich, but it also leads people away from Christ. The Mayan religion is polytheistic (many gods), but heavily focused on animism. The pyramids and temples they built were made to honor their gods, and many of those temple ruins are still standing today. Our partner is planting churches and making disciples in small town throughout the state of Yucatan. Your group can join us as we reach individuals and families and share the Good News with them!
