Colombia is a wonderful destination for mission teams. Our partner in Colombia has ministry in multiple locations, where you can experience both urban and rural ministry. In the capital of Bogota, your group can work with local pastors and church planters who are working in a city of over 7 million people. There are also thousands of refugees coming in from Venezuela that are looking for hope and a better life. About 2 hours south of the capital city is the small town of Fusagasuga (commonly referred to as Fusa). In Fusa, we partner with a Christian camp that host thousands of local children each year for two and three day church camps. Your group can help with games, crafts, skits and much more at the camp. There are also local church in the Fusa area that we partner with and serve.
Ministry Opportunities:
- Sports camps and clinics- soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball.
- Local Church ministry- assist local churches with special events and outreaches.
- Light Construction projects- paint school and churches, service projects, landscaping.
- Prayer walking- going to new areas and neighborhoods and praying for people
- Camp Ministry in Fusa- help run camp for local kids- games, music, skits, crafts
- Movie Night- showing the Jesus Film or other movies in order to share the Gospel
- VBS and Bible clubs- crafts, games, songs, Bible stories, testimonies and more
- Youth Outreach event- special youth nights or events that aim to share teh Gospel
- Training events for First Responders- especially police and military

- Sightseeing and souvenir shopping in Bogota
- The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira- underground church built in a salt mine cave
- Gold Museum- one of the best collections of gold and silver artifacts in the world
- Mount Masseratte- take a cable car to see view of Bogata with shopping & food
