ORLANDO, FLORIDA
Orlando is one of the most visited cities in the US, with over 74 million people coming each year to see Disney World and the surrounding attractions. For the residents of Orlando, about 24% of the population identifies as Evangelical followers of Jesus. Your group can help us minister to both the local population and the visitors who come to Orlando. We work with local churches and other ministries to share the love of Christ with people throughout the Orlando region.
Ministry Opportunities include:
- VBS and children’s ministry
- Food Banks and Homeless shelters
- Outreach events like Block Parties and holiday-themed events
- Sports ministry – games and/or clinics
- Concerts and musical performance
- Light construction projects
- Local church ministry – special events and programs
- Evangelism – prayer waling and sharing the Gospel
- Volunteer to serve children with special needs and/or critical illness
Leisure Activities include:
- Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios
- Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay
- Sea World
- Cocoa Beach – one hour away
- Disney Springs – restaurants and shopping
- Orlando Magic pro basketball games
Travel info: Groups can fly into Orlando airport (MCO) Groups are responsible for their own ground transportation for this trip.
