Hannah Bennett
My name is Hannah Bennett from Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania. I had the wonderful privilege of growing up in a Christian home with parents who made sure that I knew the importance of being in church and knowing the Lord. At the age of 5, while attending Christian School, I realized my need as a sinner to ask for forgiveness from the Lord and accepted Him as my personal Savior. I was baptized at the age of 11 years of age. When I was 16-years-old, I went through some physical struggles that required many tests, treatments, and major surgery. It was through this time of trial that I realized the need to really give my life over to the Lord and allow Him to have complete control. I have been a Registered Nurse for 16 years specializing in Obstetrics, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, and Neonatal Intensive Care. In January of 2020, I moved to Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I am currently working with Matthew and Courtney Womack at a young church plant, Solid Rock Baptist Church. Our church is involved in children’s ministry, and outreach in the community through local hospitals and homeless shelters, as well as soup kitchens and medical missions. I am scheduled to take my nursing exams to get my South African nursing certification in November 2023. With this certification comes a whole new door of opportunities to reach people with the Gospel through medical missions.
