The heart of downtown Nashville has been the capital of the country music scene for a long time. On the north side, areas like Hendersonville and Gallatin are seeing tremendous growth and population booms. On the south side, Franklin and Brentwood have affluent neighborhoods. There are also large pockets of immigrants and refugees from all over the world who call Nashville home. Currently, Nashville has the highest population of Kurds in the US.
