PANAMA
Our Daystar partners in Panama are just outside the capital city of Panama City. The population of Panama City is right around 2 million people. The capital city is much like an American city, with US forces having helped build much of the infrastructure there during the time the Panama Canal was being built. Once you get outside of the capital city, Panama is much like many of the other 3rd world countries in Latin America. Our partners do ministry in a variety of settings, including in Panama City, in rural areas, and also with indigenous Indian people. With such a great diversity of locations, teams can experience ministry in different settings and with different people.

Ministry opportunities include:
  • Ministry in public schools – ages 5-18 – Bible stories, testimonies, games, Gospel, etc.
  • Sports Camps – our partners specifically run lots of basketball clinics and camps
  • Food Distribution – buying groceries and giving them to families in need
  • VBS and Bible Clubs for kids – crafts, games, songs, Bible stories, puppets, and more
  • Women’s Bible studies – opportunities to gather with ladies and do Bible studies
  • Light Construction – painting churches and homes, building pews, and more
  • Homeless ministry – assembling food and clothing bags and delivering to homeless
  • Ministry to Indigenous – Gospel, testimonies, crafts, games, dramas, songs, and more
